We love Robusto's because of their fine wines of course, but also because they've got great live music Thursday thru Saturday. They've got a great selection of whites and reds, by the bottle or by the glass. There are also a few wonderful champagnes on the menu. If you've got martini loving friends you'll want to bring them along, because they've got more than 185 martinis, and they were voted Best Martini Lounge in 2002 and 2003 by The Detroit News. Enoteca Campo Marzio

If you're headed downtown on your wine tasting adventure, you will not want to miss Enoteca Campo Marzio. As a matter of fact, you can pretty much do it all in one place here. They've got more than one hundred different wines from all over the world. All wines are available by the bottle, but if you prefer a wider sampling at one time, you'll want to opt for the wine flights, which are 2oz servings of three wines from a particular region. You may want to try the Michigan flight for a bit of local flavor! There's also a delicious menu of food to enjoy, including meats and cheeses, salads and sandwiches, and even truffles and chocolates. You will love it here.

Known for being one of the absolute best restaurants in Grosse Pointe, The Hill Seafood & Chop House is also a very fine wine bar. They've got a generous selection of spirits, wine, and beer to please even the most refined palates. Luigi's Downtown Restaurant

Luigi's is a great Italian restaurant that just happens to have a wonderful wine menu too. They've got a wide variety of whites and reds by the bottle, as well as a few champagnes, and their selection of wines by the glass are fantastic. We loved the Cabernet Sauvignon from Beaulieu Vineyards Coastal. You'll really enjoy the outdoor patio in the warmer months!

Rugby Grille

Located in the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham, the Rugby Grille has an award winning wine list that will keep you coming back for more. Their wine list separates the wines into categories like "Rich and Weighty" and "Regal but Comfortable" and even "Power and Elegance Combined." You simply won't find a wine list this extensive or well selected anywhere else in Metro Detroit.

J. Baldwins has been Clinton Township's go-to place (and to-go place!) for great steaks, pizzas, and sandwiches for many years. They've won awards for their martinis, but their wine list is even more impressive if you ask us. Their house signature wines are just four dollars a glass during happy hour from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. You'll also want to try their exclusive ice martinis while you're there. Did we mention the stone fired pizza? Delish!

One of the highlights of this great restaurant and bar is the waterfall. Iridescence is one of the finest restaurants in Detroit, located at the top of the Motor City Casino. The view is breathtaking, and of course the prices are equally skyscraping, but of course you get what you pay for here. We would highly recommend the foie gras and the finely sliced sashimi. Of course the wine list is the star of the show, and though most come by the bottle, there is a nice selection of wines by the glass as well.
